  • Mike Huckabee and Spokane
    January 30 12:41 AM
As our nation searches for it's next President, Mike Huckabee stands out as a reputable man of character.  Can Huckabee gain the dollars and momentum he needs to become the candidate for the Republican Party?  Will Obama or Hilary be the Candidate for the Democrats?  How do you think Spokane will vote?  If the election was specific to Spokane only, which presidential candidate would Spokane support?
  • Spokane Fiber Optic Internet
    January 30 12:36 AM
So I recently learned that there are fiber optic cables running throughout downtown Spokane in what is called the "Terabyte Triangle" - boasting of connection speeds in the gigabytes!  I was so excited at the potential of super-speed internet I did some investigating.  Come to find out, the Terabyte Triangle in downtown Spokane is a closed system.  In other words, the fiber optic cables that could revolutionize internet connectivity in Spokane - only connect the various buidings in the Terabyte Triangle and not the internet directly.  Can someone explain the value of a Terabyte Triangle that does not connect to the internet?  What's the point of fiber optic cables in downtown Spokane if they do not actually go anywhere of value?  Am I missing something?  Please advise.  Thanks.
  • Coeur d'Alene Lover
    January 30 12:30 AM
Why does Northern Idaho, specifically Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls, continue to grow as robust new communities, while Spokane, only a few short miles away seems to not be experiencing development similar to it's eastern neighbors?  What is it about Spokane that prevents it from being developed and managed with the sophistication and beauty of Coeur d'Alene?  Leave a comment and tell me why?
  • Spokane WA Housing Market
    January 30 12:24 AM
Recent national housing market reports show a nearly 25% drop in home prices last year.  Will Spokane experience similar housing price dips?  Or is Spokane different?  What do you think?
